How to use your Coupon Codes?
We have created this step by step guide to walk you through the process of signing up with our Coupon Codes for their Shared Hosting Plans. If you are signing up on other plans, or simply just buying a domain, the process is very similar. Our standard Promo Codes will give you 40 percent off your first invoice for hosting plans, and around 10 percent off domains each month.
1. Click one of the required Namecheap Promo Codes above
All you have to do is click on the one of the coupon codes above. Once you click the coupon, you will be taken to the website, and the coupon code will be automatically copied to the computers clipboard. This makes it very easy to use the coupon, as you will simply have to right-click and select paste in the coupon box, as you will see later in these instructions.
2. Choose your hosting plan
At the top of the page under the “Hosting” menu item, you will find the option to select the hosting your require. In this example, we will demonstrate how to use the promo codes for their Shared Hosting plan. The screenshot below shows you how to get to the list of Shared Hosting plans:
You will then be taken to a list of the four plans offered:
You will need to click the “Add to Cart” button for your chosen plan. The first three plans are just basic standard hosting but have varying amounts of resources assigned (i.e. disk space, bandwidth and add-on domains). The fourth plan relates to their Business hosting, and is PCI compliant for e-commerce, as well as utilizing SSD disks. This hosting is, therefore, faster than the other shared hosting plans, but that comes at a price. You should also bear in mind that “Unlimited” doesn’t unlimited. You should check the terms and conditions as usually they stipulate what you can store on their servers (i.e. it must be in connection with the active website, rather than backups or file storage). For the purpose of this demonstration of how to use one of the discount codes we will choose their most popular Professional plan, although if you only have a couple of websites then their Value plan should suffice (we actually picked up one of their Value plans when they were running a promotion, and use it as a backup hosting location). When you have decided on your chosen hosting plan, click the orange “Add to Cart” and move onto the next step.
Data center Locations
They use multiple data centers in the US, and one in the UK. Most of the Shared hosting and VPS accounts are located in the Atlanta, Georgia data center, although some are located in Phoenix, Arizona. There is no way to choose between the different US data centers. You can choose between the US and the UK data center located in Nottingham, East Midlands, UK.
3. Enter your domain information
The next stage is to enter your domain information. You can either register a new domain, transfer an existing domain, use an existing domain, or use a domain you already have there. Because you can only use one coupon in each shopping cart, we recommend you select the “I want to use a domain I own through another registrar”, or if you have already purchased the domain previously using one of our domain offers “I want to use a domain I own through Namecheap”. By doing it this way, instead of registering the domain at the same time you purchase the hosting you can ensure that you get 10 percent off the domain registration cost as well.
Once you have entered the domain name you wish to purchase hosting for you should then click the continue button.
4. Enter your Namecheap Coupon, and proceed to checkout
We recommend that you choose to pay for at least one year to make the most of your coupon code. You should right click in the Coupon box, and select paste (clicking the coupon earlier copied the code to your clipboard). Please note that some Offers will require you to create a free account before you can use the coupon. You will know if this is the case as a yellow alert message will appear, and all you have to do is click on “Create a free account,” enter your details and select continue. You will need to do this before you checkout, but it seems they want you to do it a step earlier. Check that one of the Coupons has been applied and then proceed to checkout.
There are a couple of things to note when using one of our Discount codes. Firstly, they apply to the first invoice, so by signing up for longer, you can make greater savings. Secondly, you can only use one coupon at a time, so feel free to purchase items in multiple orders. Also, you will often find some great offers (unbeatable in many cases) on the order form. One such offer we often find is a $1.99 SSL certificate, which is particularly easy to install there (their support is great for helping with this).
5. Continue to Checkout.
You will need to either log into your account or create an account before you can arrange payment for your services. If you have already created an account, then you should already be logged in, and you will go directly to the payment screen. In our experience, you will get an immediate email confirming the purchase, and within a few hours, you will receive details of the hosting service. If you are buying domains, then you will see these applied to your account immediately.
Namecheap Coupon & Billing FAQ’s
Can you advise which hosting plan I should choose?
If you require shared hosting, then we recommend their Business SSD plan. This comes with SSD storage, xCache, and CloudFlare Railgun. The Business plan is also PCI compliant, so great if you need to store credit card details on your server.
If you are just looking for budget hosting, then their standard hosting plans should suffice, with their Value Plan having a great introductory rate, and more recently SSD caching as standard.
Alternatively, you may wish to consider our top recommended host, GoDaddy, who are currently giving 83 percent off your first invoice.
NameCheap is one of the most popular web hosting providers online and given the fact that they are very well known in the business for being a well reputed domain name registrar, you can have the peace of mind that every time when you’re going to deal with them it’s going to be a wonderful experience.
So with no further ado, what are some of the things that make NameCheap the go-to place when you need a new domain name or a reliable hosting plan?
Reliability and cPanel
NameCheap has extremely reliable and fast hosting service and with an uptime of 99%, you can easily get an idea of how much work and dedication they put into ensuring customers are happy with their services. In fact, they have more than 10 years of experience in providing high quality hosting services, making them a reliable provider for your webhosting needs. You can also easily use a promo code to get a great discount off your plan, but we’ll focus more on that later.
On top of that, since they employ the standard cPanel, everyone is going to find that using it is a breeze, not to mention the fact that it also has all the features and tools that allow you to manage your website like a true professional.
Experienced Domain Registrar
If you have a lot of domains that need to be properly managed, then you should know that NameCheap initially started out as a domain registrar and then expanded its services. Therefore, they have a great interface that is user friendly and allows you to easily manage your domains.
If you want to increase the performance of your website, but at the same time not worry about the fact that this will put a strain on the server, then you definitely need to take advantage of Cloudflare in combination with shared hosting. In fact, since it can be installed with a single click in cPanel, it’s one of the first things you’ll need to consider implementing when a hosting provider tries to persuade you to decrease the CPU load by upgrading to a VPS hosting plan.
Hosting Services: Shared Hosting
NameCheap has some pretty amazing hosting offers in place, so if you’re interested in Shared Hosting, then you’ll be able to take advantage of it with as little as 2.95 dollars a month. This offer is available for both business and home use and comes with an uptime of 99%.
You can now easily host multiple websites or launch your own hosting business by using NameCheap’s reseller hosting. With just 14.95 dollars a month, you can already tell that this is a great deal you cannot miss.
If you want to great speed up your hosting plan, then VPS hosting is the way to go. Better yet, you can have the plan tailored to your specific needs and with 16.95 dollars a month, you certainly save big compared to using other hosting companies.
Dedicated Servers and E-mail Hosting
Lastly, dedicated servers can range a lot in terms of software options and hardware and plans start at 99 dollars a month. As for E-mail hosting, pricing starts at 9.88 dollars a year. With this plan you can keep your E-mail data private by using the company’s secure Open Xchange E-mail cloud platform.
